I love color! It resonates in the mind and it is truly an emotional force. And I love New York City! It's where I was born and raised and am continually inspired to live a creative life.

In 1996 my camera became my constant companion and taking photographs became my obsession. All of New York City – its color, energy & rhythm – is my stage.

My photographs are not about ideas but about the experience of seeing. It's my goal to expand people's awareness of what they actually can see. An orange cone, a lineup of strollers, a billboard against the sky are all there to see.

I was born in the Bronx and went to school in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. I now live in the West Village and started exhibiting photos in 1997.
